Q: What is a PulseVU 2?
A: The PulseVU 2 is an awesome piece of hardware developed by Pablot and SickDimension. It allows you to control hundreds of LEDs to create all kinds of custom pulse and fade effects. It’s can be used in conjunction with nearly any console under the sun and let you take your case modding to a whole new level. You may have heard of the PulseVU but the PulseVU 2 hasn’t even been released yet!
If you see Pablot and SickD around be sure to thank them for their generous donation to the competition.
Q: Can I enter more than once?
A: Only 1 entry per person but you can post as many pictures and videos of your consoles as you like.
Q. Why November 19th?
A: That’s the 1 year anniversary of the Wii’s release and the day the warranty ends for all of the launch days Wii’s. What better way to bid your warranty fare well than to mod your console!
Q: Do I have to Mod a Wii?
A: No, you can mod ANY Nintendo Brand console from the NES to the Wii, the original Gameboy to the DS. Be creative and have fun with it.
Q: Does it have to be a Case Mod?
A: No, any kind of mod is acceptable. Just have a modchip? show us a picture of the install. Maybe just snap a picture of your console running some homebrew or maybe you decked it out with a LED base and some stickers. Anything goes as long as it’s not stock. Have a gnarly case mod? We’d love to see that too! This isn’t a competition, the winners will be chosen at random so any and all kinds of mods are welcome.
Q: How/When Will you choose the Winners?
A: On November 19th the thread will be closed and no further entries will be allowed, once that happens everyone who entered in accordance with the rules will have their name put in a computer program and the winners will be chosen at random. The winners will then be contacted through PM for shipping information and their entries will be featured on the Nintendo-Scene news page.
