Tracking fingers with the Wii Remote November 10

jcl5m posted this interesting demonstration video on YouTube showing how with a simple IR LED array the Wii remote can act as a multi-point touchless hand tracking interface; similar to the one used in Minority Report.

Unfortunately no technical details on the tracking and interface software were made availble but the concept shouldn’t be very difficult to emulate using the popular Wii Remote drivers availble.
