The D2Pro Team has released a new beta 9 Wire Firmware for the DMS/D2A/D2B/D2C drive chips.
Note this does not fix the new “Un-Moddable” D2C Wiis.

v1.1b of the 9-wire d2pro firmware has been added to the resources section. See the readme file for the full list of cool features, but please keep in mind that this is a BETA release!

A new version of the Ballion homebrew Wii game has been released. Version 1.6 adds Wiimote support among other changes.
From the release notes:
For the WII version you need either a gamecube game controller or one Wiimote. Sound and hardware acceleration is now supported in version 1.6. To save the game state, you need a gamecube memory card in slot B. You can load ballion with the Twilight Hack or any other ELF loader.
To connect Wiimote hold down button 1 and 2 until you feel the vibration.
Up and down buttons - Menu control
Left and right buttons - Ball movement
Minus button - Menu selection
A button - Enter menu
Plus button - Restart ELF loader
Home button - Reboot Wii and show Wii menu

Waninkoko has released a new app at teknoconsolas.info for importing Miis from a SD Card
Mii Installer v1.0
Description:
This application installs all Miis stored on an SD card into the Wii.
How to Use:
1. Create a directory named “miis” at the root of an SD card.
2. Copy all the Miis you want to install in the directory created in the previous step.
3. Run the application and all Miis is copied from the SD card to your Wii.
